This tutorial/book/work (call it what you like. I don't know it yet, too.) will try to give you an insight of Doctrine's migrations and how to use them in your symfony 1.3 / 1.4 projects.

I wanted to write this guide (I think calling it a guide will do) because I had the chance to use Doctrine's migrations for quite some time now and wanted to share my knowledge with you. Also I wanted to give something back for the hard work the Doctrine and symfony teams put into their projects. We use these projects every day for free and in my opinion their teams deserve that we community members give something back for this.
